The Kinship Mutual Aid Foundation was formed around a simple truth: every community-centered idea deserves a place where it can be supported, strengthened, and given room to grow.

We exist to hold initiatives that enhance well-being, sustain the planet, and create lasting positive impact for all beings. Our work spans nourishment, mutual aid, resource sharing, sustainability, education, and collaborative care — all grounded in the belief that when we show up for each other, everyone flourishes.

The Foundation is designed as a flexible charitable structure, where aligned ideas, projects, and programs can find support, infrastructure, and a path forward.

Our 3 Pillars

  • Food is the first form of care. We support programs that put rescued, fresh food into the hands of families who need it — reducing waste, honoring dignity, and feeding community from the inside out.

  • What gets rescued from the landfill becomes abundance at someone's table. Our programs strengthen the loop between people and planet — reducing waste, supporting local ecosystems, and building climate resilience through everyday acts of care.

  • Mutual aid is not charity — it's community. The person receiving groceries may also be the one sorting them. We build horizontal relationships, not vertical hierarchies. Neighbors helping neighbors, with kinship at the center.
